FROK’s Executive Director & Program Manager headed to Gulu, Uganda this week for a training in Narrative Exposure Therapy at Vivo International. Vivo does work in Uganda, the DRC, Rwanda and other conflict and post-conflict settings around the world.

We are grateful that our Social Workers had the opportunity to learn Narrative Exposure Therapy, as it is a short term psychotherapy treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and is currently being used with survivors of the LRA in northern Uganda, as well as refugees, IDPs and survivors of torture.
